Our resort, Salina Wharf Hotel, is very good, has great service, and even has a Russian-speaking staff member. Although it is quite far from the seaside and the beach is not very sandy, we didn't go to the beach much as we spent most of our time sightseeing and making day trips. We visited a couple of beaches on the opposite side of the island, as well as the tranquil and beautifully rustic island of Gozo just 5 km from Malta.

We have some useful information for our Russian members: we applied for visas in Kazan where there is a Malta Visa Centre. One person can collect visas for all with an authorization letter."

“It was a wonderful experience taking my parents and my family to visit Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, where we stayed at The Palace of the Golden Horses. This huge, sprawling hotel with a grand exterior is one of the most palatial properties in the city.

Our room had a view of the lake that separated the Palace of the Golden Horses from the Mines Resort, while my parents' room faced three beautiful waterfalls with lush green surroundings. They woke up in the mornings to the sounds of lovely sweet chirping birds and the soothing sound of splashing water.

There are special ferry rides that we all enjoyed. My daughter loved the water theme park a lot. The Palace has also got its own golf course, so with all these leisure and entertainment facilities available, you can enjoy a relaxing holiday in the 'palace' without ever leaving the place!

The hotel even had an Indian restaurant which served delicious meals at a very affordable price.

We all thank QVI Club for offering such a dream vacation for an unbelievably low price without compromising on quality!"

Vegetarian Delights

Amala Restaurant Makes Healthy Food Taste Good

When you mention vegetarian cuisine, non-vegetarians normally have a preconceived notion that vegetarian food is healthy… but plain, tasteless, and not substantial enough. Often, they cry, "I need my protein!" But when it comes to well prepared, well thought-out vegetarian cuisine, nothing could be further from the truth.

At Prana Resorts & Spa on the Thai island of Koh Samui, the vegetarian restaurant, Amala, serves up a repertoire of simply divine vegetarian dishes infused with Thai and Asian flavours that are not just a delight to the palate but also a pleasure to the senses. Most of the fresh salad greens are cultivated hydroponically on the resort itself, including various types of lettuce such as red oak, green cos and butter head. Mint, basil and Thai basil are grown organically in the resort's gardens as well, and are creatively added to dishes and even cocktails!

What is a Vegetarian?

  • For Home Resorts, Limited Collection resorts and Exclusive Boutique Collection, and for affiliated resorts that are not listed online, please contact our Customer Experience Ambassadors to check availability.
  • Have at least 3 travel date options. The more flexible you are, the higher your chances of securing availability at the resort of your choice.
  • Contact our Customer Experience Ambassadors at customercare@qviclub.com to make your reservation as early as possible.
  • In your reservation email, please provide us with your name, QVI or IR ID, and package ID to help us expedite your request.
  • Pay your Usage* and Xchange Fees* to confirm your booking, if you have not already done so.
     

Helpful Tips

  • Be flexible with your travelling dates and have options spread out over a few weeks. This will increase your chance of obtaining availability.
  • Don’t be afraid to explore alternative destinations.
  • Consider off-peak periods for holiday travel when there are fewer crowds and lower prices for airfares, restaurants, tourist activities and attractions.
  • Plan your holiday travel based on which resorts have availability, and not on-demand.


Booking Guidelines

  • QVI Club membership is for holiday travel and not for business travel or cities-only travel.
  • Reservations at Home Resorts or any QVI Club affiliated resorts are subject to availability and are not for specific travel dates or peak period travel.
  • Reservations have to be made in advance. Last minute bookings will not be accepted.
  • Occupancy is usually for 2 to 4 people, depending on the maximum occupancy policy of the resort selected.
  • Website photos of the resorts and rooms may not be representative; your room may not appear exactly as in the photos. Only the unit type and the occupancy are as indicated in your Confirmation Voucher.
  • Additional booking fees may apply for some destinations or resorts. You will be advised at the point of booking.
  • Most resorts require a security deposit at check-in, to be set against damage, loss or non-payment of purchases. This deposit will be refunded on check-out if no costs have been incurred.
